3 SPOs terminated, JEE among various suspects lifted | Rajouri Brothel case | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 12: Three Special Police Officers involved in running brothel from a residence that too owned by a SPO, have been terminated from services while a Junior Electrical Engineer among various persons were lifted by police for questioning, police sources said. They added the JEE was lifted on the disclosures of the arrested Shimla based pimp who was arrested during raid in Bela Colony. The hunt for couple cop was on till late hours by police. Pertinently four persons including 3 Special Police Officers (SPOs) and a Shimla based pimp were arrested for running brothel from the residence of a couple cop in Bela Colony, Rajouri. "Following a specific input that the flesh trade was on in the residence of constable Mohd Hanief and lady constable Naseema, police team raided their residence and found one SPO in compromising position with the Shimla based woman, sources said. "Among those who arrested have been identified as Mohd Sharif, Mohd Ismail, Rakesh Kumar and a Shimla based woman married to a local Muslim boy but later had got divorce," sources added. They said, "Rakesh Kumar was found in compromising position with the Shimla based woman when police raided the residence in the above mentioned residential colony." SP Rajouri, Mubisser Latifi when contacted confirming the reports said that questioning of the arrested persons is in progress and more skeletons are likely to be come out to ground. "The raid was conducted by police following complaints of brothel being run by a resident of Bela Colony and police arrested four persons in this regard. A case in this connection has been registered with the concerned police station. |
