PYC holds day long 'interactive session with newly elected cadre

Rajouri, July 13: Pardesh Youth Congress (PYC) J&K, today accorded a rousing reception to the newly elected Vice President Pranav Shagotra and Dr Rashid Choudhary former state president NSUI and State General Secretary Youth Congress on their maiden visit after PYC elections held recently.
A large number of PYC activists received the visiting PYC leaders at Salani Bridge by garlanding them profusely and then they were led to the Dak Banglow Rajouri, in shape of a procession. Earlier a gathering of Youth was addressed by Dr. Rashid at Panja after which the youth activists accompanied him to the Dak Bunglow Rajouri.
Thereafter the PYC activists, booth level delegates of the four assembly segments of district Rajouri assembled at Dak Bunglow.
Speaking on the occasion Pranav Shagotra expressed his gratitude towards Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary AICC, Incharge PYC , Ms Meenakshi Natrajan AICC Secretary, In charge PYC and to Rajiv Satav, National President IYC for their guidance to the young leadership. Shagotra urged the PYC activists to work with discipline and dedication to get success and promotion in PYC. He also revealed that PYC will monitor and ensure the delivery of centrally sponsored scheme.
In his address in day long Interactive session, Dr Rashid Choudhary former NSUI Sate President said that a grave discrimination is being meted to the people of Rajouri Poonch. "The region has been ignored for a long and now the local elected youth congress leaders will change the scenario, he said.
He also pointed out that youth of region must rise above caste and communal political prevalent in the region. He warned such vested interests of dire consequences.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Arif Jatt senior youth congress leader and form PYC State secretary urged upon the PYC leadership to fulfill the long pending demand of the youth of district Rajouri for the establishment of a youth community centre and for raising the sport infrastructure. He said that it is only possible under the rule of UPA that far flung areas like Rajouri may get due attention.
Tabassum Malik Vice president PYC Darhal Budhal constituency raised the gross root issues of the constituency including the strong demand of people of Darhal Town for the construction of a community hall at Darhal Malkan.
Tanveer Malik senior youth leader presented the vote of thanks and appealed the PYC leaders to pay regular visits to the far flung areas of the state
During the function PYC leaders were garlanded by the senior leaders and Shawls were presented to the leaders as a token of regards.
