| `Lice witnessed gruesome murder of Laila and her family members' | | Laila Khan murder | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar, July 13: Barely a few days after the Mumbai police recovered the bodies of Laila Khan and her family members; Early Times got access to a video filmed just before the murder.
The clips filmed on the morning of February 8 depict some happy movements of the family. One of the clips shows Laila, her mother and sister in a beauty saloon preparing for the party at Igatpuri farm house.
The video shows some lighter movements- Zarra Patel praising the hair of her mother while setting her own hair right. Zarra has been shown sitting on a chair with her hair ready to be curled while Laila is sitting on another chair inside the beauty salon.
After leaving the beauty saloon, all of them left for Igatpuri where the family was scheduled to attend a party to celebrate completion of work on their swiming pool. The family had spent Rs. 4 lakh on its construction. The job was entrusted to Tak.
Saleena and her family had also invited Asif Sheikh on this occasion, but he did not turn and the family felt his absence. The two other clips which are in position of "Early Times" show Zarra making fun of Parvaiz Tak who is dressed in white shirt and black trouser with white lines over it sitting adjacent to his wife Saleena Patel.
The video was filmed inside the big hall where Parvaiz and his friend Shakir later brutally killed the entire family. Zarra while making fun of Tak called him a liar, illiterate and uncultured person. Tak responds by suggesting Zarra have a look into the mirror as it would reflect her ugly face.
But Zarra in return told the Tak that she is beautiful like a princess. Saleena who wore a casual dress also seems making fun in the video. In this video all the family members except Azmina Patel are sitting inside the room of her mother where the family members enjoy acting skills of washer man who makes the entire family laugh while displaying acting scene of Shahrukh starrer "Bazigar".
As the washerman displays his acting skills, Imran enjoys Hukka while Zarra with her golden makes fun all around and cracks some jokes as well. Laila was asked to judge the acting skills of washerman while Tak along with Saleena Patel acted as director. All the family members while sitting inside the room were seen in joy and fun. At the end of the video clip, Saleena Patel seems praising acting skill of washer man with the comment that he (Washer man) will be a good actor once he gets a chance to face camera.
All the family members who were present inside the Igatpuri farmhouse got killed except one "Lice". Lice is a cat raised by Laila Khan as the deceased actress had lot of love for pets. As Parvaiz kills all the family members and left the farmhouse, Lice roams around the farmhouse and seems to miss all the family members. Even though the Lice creates hue and cry, but no one was able to understand her. Lice is the witness of the fateful night when Tak and his friend one by one killed the actress Laila Khan and her family.
Meanwhile, SP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tutti for the first time in his exclusive interview with "Early Times" said that Kishtwar police and Doda police are making joint efforts to arrest Shakir Hussain of Gundow. "Yes one of the key accused in this crime is Shakir Hussain who is actually a resident of District Doda. "We along with Doda police tries to nab him---- we are trying to ascertain his whereabouts and we are hopeful that shortly we will be able to arrest him", Tutti said.
On ferrying of explosives for Delhi High Court blast in recovered Outlander vehicle, SP Kishtwar said that during investigation, nothing of that sort has come to surface. But, yes basic investigation is conducted by Mumbai police, so they would be able to find out whether there is any reality about that story", he said.
He said police was not able to probe the case further after local court handed over Tak custody to Mumbai police. He said that police did not inquire about any possible link of the accused or the deceased family with underworld. "We were actually not able to probe further into that kind of investigation. I think Mumbai police would be the correct agency to pin point that… the right authority to comment on their link if any with underworld", Tutti added.
On recovery of photographs showing links of the deceased family with top most politicians and businessmen of Mumbai, he said the Mumbai police recovered all those photographs. "I am not in a position to comment on that part of the investigation." |
