AJKLTF terms agreement by partial JCC as 'betrayal' to employees

Jammu, July 14: All Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) today held a daylong session Jammu under the chairmanship of Balwan Singh Jamwal to take stock of various pending demands of teaching community and termed recent agreement between Govt and partial JCC representatives on July 8, as 'betrayal with employees of the state.
During the meeting representatives of various districts of Jammu province participated and threadbare discussed the various long pending demands of teaching community and described agreement held between Govt and partial JCC representatives at Srinagar as betrayal with 4.5 lakh employees and workers of the state.
While addressing the session Balwan Singh Jamwal President of the federation along with other members Manga Ram Sharma(Gen. Secy), Joginder Singh Manhas (Sr. Vice President), Som Nath Banathia ,Vijay Kumar Sharma, Daljeet Singh Bhau, Pawan Kumar Gupta, S. Rajinder Singh, Thoru Ram, Tara Chand, Shamsher Singh, Suresh Sharma, Naseem Ahmed, Sanjeevan Singh, Naranjan Sharma, Hardeep Singh, Mohd Quyoom,Rajinder Sharma, Yaseen Ahmed, Mohan Lal, S Manjeet Singh, Jyoti Parkash, Joginder Singh, Danesh Singh,Satish Sharma ,Pawan Kumar etc who were present in the house expressed their serious concern over the dilly dallying tactics adopted by the State Govt to concede the just and genuine demands of the teaching fraternity and employees of state.
Members with one voice requested the chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene in the matter to resolve the issues regarding the school education department to streamline the education system.
AJKLTF appealed to the employees/ unions/organization to participate in the convention to participate in the convention to be held at Srinagar on July 16 on agenda of broader unity of the employees and be vigilant from the so called leaders working against the cause of employees.
