Two frauds arrested with 'fake golden' bricks in Kathua

Jammu, July 14: Two fraudsters were arrested along with 'fake golden' bricks in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. "Based on a tip-off that two frauds looting locals by imposing as goldsmiths in Basholi area, a raid was conducted and both of them were arrested," Rafiq Manhas, SDPO Basholi here said. He said during investigations it was found that the accused identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Mohammad Rafiq, resident of Marha Patti and Manzoor Hussain, son of Jamat Ali, resident of Magar Khad looted the locals by befooling them. "Two fake golden bricks were recovered from their possession," he said, adding that a case of FIR number 48/2012 under section 420 of RPC has been registered against them.
