| Police clueless about mysterious disappearance of female employee | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: Mystry shrouds the missing of 27 year old Floriculture female employee about whom police is clueless till date. The 27 year ill fated employee who reportedly left her office near BC road Floriculture park on July 10 at 1 pm for her home at Jagti township is missing since then.
The family members of the woman have registered a case in Bus Stand Police Station and police is investigating the case. As per the telephonic talk by woman with her husband at 2-30 pm on the fateful day the tower shows her presence somewhere in Akhnoor. Though Akhnoor Police tried to locate the girl at different locations in the area including the Chenab bank but could not find any clue about her.
On the persistent request of the people and family members of the woman, the authorities today depleted the water from Ranbir canal and though a team of police men and relatives and other social activists searched the canal from head to Power House Canal but there was no trace of the woman.
According to the telephone messages of the woman, two calls made to her by her husband and her colleague in office the tower located her somewhere in Akhnoor and two calls were made within 15 minutes one after another. Later, it was said that the call was located at sub tower linked to tower number one in Ambhgrota. Though the members of family of the victim visited the area to find out the clue they could not get.
The family and relatives of the woman are totally perturbed and they have approached the highest echelons in the Government as well as police authorities to trace the lady. Her mysterious disappearance is a challenge to police also who after the four days are still clueless and could not reach to any conclusion.
Some social organizations have also approached the authorities urging them to launch a hunt to trace the woman. In an appeal to IG Police Jammu they have urged him to send the police teams in various directions where from the tower has traced the last call to find the clue.
It may be recalled that in past some such mysterious disappearance cases have taken place in Jammu and police could not find any clue about them. One ASI who was working with Railway Police at Udhampur went missing two years back and later his dead body was picked up somewhere in Tawi island.
One teenager girl of a former corporator also went on missing from a marriage party over some years back and later her dead body was picked some where on the bank of canal. Likewise a middle class businessman in rural Jammu went on missing over five years back along with his matador and later his body was picked after a long time in Samba area. |
