An impersonating accused, booked in City Police Station for extorting money from the people in Jammu area by impersonating as Dy SP, was arrested at Bhaderwah this morning. He was booked in City Police Station under section 382, 341, 419, 109 RPC. According to reports, Parvez Akhtar, son of Akhtar Hussain of Udrana, Bhaderwah along with his other associates was found impersonating as Dy SP and extorting money from the people in Jammu area and the case in this regard was registered under section 382, 341, 419, 109 RPC in City Police Station. Since then the accused was absconding and evading his arrest. Bhaderwah Police today booked information regarding his presence in the area carried out raid and arrested him. Meanwhile, he was handed over to City Police for further legal action.
