Police recovers kidnapped girl | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, July 16: Bhaderwah and Gundoh Police today arrested an absconder within 24 hours and also recovered a kidnapped girl from a house at Bodha village of Bhaderwah where kidnapper was hiding from the last three days. Police today solved a kidnapping case within 24 hours by recovering the girl and arresting the kidnapper in Bodha village of Bhaderwah. "Gundoh police arrested the kidnapper and recovered the kidnapped girl from him within 24 hours," ASP Bhaderwah Roop Raj Bhagat said. He said a girl, whose name was not released, resident of Cheera, near Halaran Thatri Tehsil was allegedly kidnapped by Sohan Lal, 23, son of Shiv Lal resident of the same village Cheera village of Thathri in Doda district on July 13. Her parents had lodged a complaint in police station Gundoh regarding kidnapping yesterday. Police had registered a case FIR No. 68/ 2012 US 373 / 109 and set the investigation into motion. The ASP said a special team was constituted under the supervision of Inspector Gulam Nabi Mir , SHO police station Gundoh , and nocturnal raids were conducted by police on the suspected houses to apprehend the accused person. The kidnapped girl was recovered in a raid in Bodha village of Bhaderwah from the kidnapper today from a house of an ex serviceman namely Hans Raj. |
