| TIC Bani organizes cultural programme | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 16 : Tehsil Information Centre, Bani organised a cultural programme at Sarthal - a quite health resort of Tehsil Bani in Kathua district. Ex Deputy Speaker Mr Gulam Haider Malik was the chief guest, while the representative of NYK affiliated social organization Jawahar Memorial Club, Barmota and a large number of people watched the scintillating cultural programme.
Chain Singh & Party of Bani presented enthralling performance comprising Pahari and Dogri songs which kept the audience spellbound.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Haider Mailk appreciated the Information Department for its concerted effort to provide a platform to local budding talent and help the generation to know their rich cultural heritage. He added that the talent of isolated places like Bani needs to be nurtured to keep the Pahari culture alive. |
