| Patwaris' stage protest to highlight their demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 16 : All J&K Patwari Association continued its three day strike from today at the respective tehsil Headquarters in respect of their long pending demands.
Amidst sloganeering in support of their demands the protesting patwaris raised their demands. During the protest the demands raised by All J&K Patwar Association included Removal of pay anomalies, Relaxation in public recruitment of Naib Tehsildars, Relaxation in Public Service guarantee Act Enactment in PSC exams changes from 4 to 8, Establishment of departmental enquiry cell and Inclusion of staff working in computer centres in ETS quota.
Other demands highlighted on the occasion included Patwari Training to all settlements Assistants and enhancement of their basic pay of Patwari.
The main protest was organized at Jammu head offices and protestors said that on the second and third day of strike the protests will be held at all district headquarters. |
