| 8 person arrested for smgulling 45 bovines | | | Udhampur| Feb 3 Udhampur and Kud police today arrested 8 bovine smugglers in two different raids and recovered 45 bovines from their possession when they were on way to Srinagar to smuggle the bovines. According to reports today police booked a specific information that some smugglers were smuggle the bovines in the area, after booked the information on the direction of SSP Udhampur P R Manhas police party of Kud police station laid a naka in the area and during checking the vehicles party stopped three trucks for checking and recovered 33 bovines in the trucks and also arrested 6 persons for smuggling the bovines they have been identified as Janak Raj son of Nand Lal, Bashir Ahmed son of Lal Hussain, Mohd Sadiq son of Mohd Ashraf both resident of R S Pura and three drivers namely Amrik Singh son of Manahor Singh, Balbir Singh son of Kewal Singh and Mohd Ramzan son of Mohd Deen both resident of Simbol Camp Meanwhile Udhampur police also arrested 2 bovine smgullar and recovered 12 bovines from their possession, reports said after booked the information police laid a naka in the area and stooped a truck no JK02-4037 for checking during checking the truck party recovered 12 bovines and arrested 2 person namely Sanjeev Kumar son of Prem Lal resident of Bari Brahmna and Saroj Din son of Jabar Din resident of Samroli and took them to police station for furthur interrogation and police has also register a case in this regard.
