| Rich floral tributes to paid G M Jan on his 5th death anniversary | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, July 18: A large number of people drawn from Poonch and Haveli paid rich floral tributes to popular mass leader of area Late Ghualm Mohammad Jan, former MLA Haveli Poonch on his 5th Death Anniversary observed here in District head quarter of Poonch.
Former Minister Ajay Sadhotra MLC Jammu National Conference, Block Presidents, workers, all Sarpanches, panches and Prominent citizens K.K Kapoor, K.D Maini, Harchan Singh Khalsa, Ab Ahad Bhatt paid tribute to the deceased leader at Dak Banglow Poonch.
The function of Quran Khawani and Fateh Khawani was also held at the house of Late Jan at Poonch where thousands of people participated in it.
In his tributes Ajay Sadhotra recalled that late MLA G M Jan was great leader of the people of Poonch and remembered him as Jan always worked for his people with commitment and devotion. He said that Jan's demise was great loss for the people of Poonch and National Conference which created a void within political space of the border region.
Terming Ajaz Ahmed Jan as real follower of his father, minister said that Jan has also made good grip on the people which is evident with the participation of thousands of people in the programme.
Wali Daat, Ex MLC also termed Jan as great leader of Poonch and said that late MLA Jan had also highlighted the public issues inside and outside the Assembly.
Meanwhile National Conference officer bearer along with Block Presidents, Sarpanches and panches also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the work initiated by Ajaz Ahmed Jan in the constituency. |
