| Omar asks people to give up smoking | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 18 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today urged smokers to kick the habit and join the campaign to make the society smoke-free, saying his government would take all necessary steps to check use of tobacco products in the state. "Smokers should pledge to quit smoking and join the anti-tobacco campaign with non-smokers and volunteers and work for creating a tobacco-free society," Omar said addressing an anti-tobacco seminar here. |
