| GDC Bhaderwah organizes exhibition cum workshop | | | Early Times Report
bhaderwah, July 19: Post Graduate Department of Urdu Govt Degree College Bhaderwah in collaboration with Tehreek Baqa-e-Urdu organized one day exhibition cum workshop of renowned artist and social worker from Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain. The workshop was attended by the large number of student of GDC Kishtwar who were taught about the skills of fine-arts and were guided by the young artist how to take part in the events being organized by University of Jammu especially Display Your Talent. Sheikh Nasir Hussain who had remained two time champion in DYT and beside receiving all round best trophy for consecutive two years had also represented Jammu University at zonal and National level, while encouraging the students said that there is lot of hidden talent which needs proper guidance and exposure. Earlier the exhibition of posters on developmental issues prepared by Sheikh Nasir was inaugurated by M.A.Malik Rector Bhaderwah Campus and R.K.Raina principal GDC Bhaderwah. Dr. Tariq Tamkeen HOD PG dept of Urdu while speaking on the occasion advised the students to take part in extra curricular activities and also informed that in future dept of urdu will also hold such kind of workshops. Besides others Rector Bhaderwah campus and principal GDC Bhaderwah also spoke on the occasion and extended thanks to Sheikh Nasir and Dr. Tariq tamkeen for organizing the workshop for the benefit of students.
Among others, DFO Bhaderwah M.H.Gagroo, faculty members, prominent citizens were also present on the occasion. |
