| DDC Urban holds meet | | | Jammu | Feb 3
The District Congress Committee (DDC) (Urban) under the chairmanship of Om chopra, organized the meeting with 14 Block Presidents here today. The purpose was to have the interaction with Block Persidents so as to gear up the organizational activities upto the grass root level and take the policy of the govt. also upto the workers. As per press release committee endorsed the views of the Chief minister to eradicate the corruption from govt. The policy of the Chief Minister has to be supplemented with active cooperation of party workers.
The committee also shown the sympathy with victims of the Matador which met with accident at Nowshera, where 20 precious lives were lost and 19 were injured. It was impressed upon the Govt. to take action against the violators.
The prominent who attended the meeting are D.S. Langeh, B.B. Gupta, M.M. Handa, Inder Sehgal, S. Krishan Singh, Joginder Singh Chib, Rajni Bala, Vijay Sharma, J.K. Koul , Keshwa Nand, Rameshwar Singh and others.
