| Er Phonsa addresses Dalit Conference at Pune | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 19: Er HR Phonsa was invited to deliver key note address to the annual conference of Jhoppar Patti Suraksha Dal Pune.
The conference was organised to celebrate 58th Anniversary of a great Dalit leader who worked selflessly for the welfare of his Dalit brethren particularly to solve the housing problems of those who lived in slums in Pune. While speaking to a large gathering in Maratha Chambers of Commerce Conference Hall Pune, Er Phonsa stressed upon education and peaceful demonstrations to get rid of malady of poverty, unhealthy living and unemployment of poor and downtrodden living in Slums. He stressed to follow the constitution means as demonstrated by Dr Baba Sahib B R Ambedkar. He also paid rich tributes to Ammabau Sathe, a great communist leader, who have written over 35 novels in Marathi, over 9 of which have been used as theme of films. Padamshri Laxmin Manay, Aunkis Kakre President Mahada Pune, renowned Singer Kailash Kumar, Prof Rattan Lal Sonagara a renowned Hindi and Marathi writer and Bhagwan Rao Verat, president of Jhoppar Patti Suraksha Dal Pune addressed the annual feat. |
