| RAW Inspector remanded to 5 day CBI custody | | | | Jammu, July 20 (JNF) : Special Magistrate CBI Jammu (CJM) Jatinder Singh Jamwal today granted five days CBI remand of Raw Inspector Dinesh Koul, Sahdev Singh and Rinku Kumar private persons who was arrested by the CBI team on July 19, 2012. According to the CBI case that Inspector Raw Dinesh Koul arrested from RS Pura while taking 10000 each from two youths assuring jobs to them in the agency. Today CBI produced Raw Inspector Dinesh Koul, Sahdev Singh and Rinku Kumar in the Court of Special Magistrate CBI Jammu with the prayer for remanding them to the custody of CBI for seven days. Special Magistrate CBI Jammu (CJM) Jatinder Singh Jamwal after perused the contents of the application and the case dairy, reveals that accused are involved in a case registered on July 19, 2007 at P/S CBI Jammu for offences u/s 120-B RPC r/w section 161 and u/ss 5(2) r/w section 5(1) (d) of J&K PC Act. The investigation of the case is at initial stage and the custodial interrogation of the accused persons appears to be imperatives and granted CBI remand till July 25, 2012 with the direction to produce them on expiry of remand. |
