| SRS urges Jammuites not to pay electricity bills | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 20: Taking serious note of the frequent power cuts in Jammu during most unfavourable hot summer, Ram Sena (SRS) Jammu-Kashmir accused the Chief Engineer Power Development Department of remaining totally failed to manage the power crises and demanded immediate removal from the said chair. Besides this SRS appealed Jammuites not to pay the electricity bills till 24 hours uninterrupted power supply is restored In a press release issued here today, Shri Ram Sena state president Rajiv Mahajan appeals all the Jammuites not to pay the electricity bills till 24 hours uninterrupted power supply is restored. Mahajan said the Chief Engineer is unconcerned about the problems of the general public so she must resign from service on moral grounds.
"Shri Ram Sena threatened Jammu bandh in coordination with other like minded organisation against the Power Development Department, if uninterrupted power supply is not restored within four days," Mahajan said. |
