SF launches search operation in Renie forests | Hunt for Delhi blast accused | | Asif Iqbal Naik KISHTWAR, July 20: Army and Jammu Kashmir Police have launched a joint search operation in Renie forest of Marwah tehsil in Kishtwar District to apprehend the HM militants involved in last year September 7 blast outside Delhi High Court killing 16 and injuring 80 others. According to the reports, acting on a tip off about the movement of HM militant Amir Kamal alias Akram and his associate Mohammad Shafi, troops of 11 RR and Marwah police launched a joint operation in 3 villages of Renie viz Mathwan, Tetwan and Dund. The reports said that both Amir Kamal and his associate were sighted in the area a few days ago. Police sources said that 3 different teams of Army and police were on job to neutralized or apprehend both the militants. The sources further added that Amir Kamal who had a fracture in his ribs after falling from a hill lock few months ago visited the area for taking bath in hot water spring situated in Dund Nallah of Renie area. The reports also said that after meeting with an accident, Amir Kamal reportedly recovered 90% and has once again started its activities in Marwah and Dachhan areas. Police in Kishtwar said that efforts are on to arrest or neutralize the HM group active in Kishtwar district including those involved in last year blast outside Delhi High Court. Pertinent to mention police and Army concluded 136 days long operation only last month launched by them soon after NIA announced cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh each on Shakir Hussain Sheikh alias Chota Hafiz, Amir Kamal alias Akram and Junaid Akram Malik alias Junni for their alleged links in Delhi High Court blast. |
