| Six day orientation training course concludes | | | Jammu | Feb 3
A six day orientation and training course for adolescent girls under” Kishori Shakti Yojna” concluded the other day.
Programme Officer, ICDS Anil Sharma presided over the function said that education makes a person confident particularly girls need education for their betterment.
Pankaj Sharma, Education Officer from Central Board for Worker Education (Ministry of Labour and Employment, government of India) guided in non – formal education so as to improve literacy and innumeracy skill of adolescent girls.
Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project Purmandal Mrs Amar Jyoti Raina also spoke on the occasion : She stressed upon adolescent girls for participating in training course in various trades.
Advocate, Rajni Bala also spoke on the occasion and threw light on such training course, which have been adopted by Social Welfare Department.
Later a colourful cultural bonanza also presented by the girls on the occasion.
