| Two more yatri die, toll 95 since June 25, daily deaths come down | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 21 : Two more yatris died, taking the toll to 95 yatris since the commencement of the annual pilgrimage to Holy Ama rnath cave shrine, situated at 13500 feet, in south Kashmir Himala yas from June 25. A yatra official said here today that two more yatris died at Baltal. However, their names and other details are being collected. With this a total of 95 pilgrims have lost their lives during the pilgrimage against a total of 120 during entire yatra period last year. However, 15 pilgrims died in a road accident on Srinagar -Jammu national highway, taking the total toll to 113 since June 25 when the yatra commenced. |
