| IPS organizes Natural Conservation Day | | | KATHUA, July 21: Indian Public School today organized the nature conservation day in their school premises.Chief Guest of the occasion was Dr. Reva Sharma. The event was anchored by Romy along with the team. All kids from play group to 7th class participated in different environment activities to bring about awareness on globe's most challenging environmental issues and wise utilization of the natural resources which was the main motto of the complete program.
World Nature conservation day is observed on July 28 all over the world with increasing awareness about the precious natural resources the earth is blessed with. Also they did this to showcase the environmental degradation through their presentations of slogans and art work.
Slogans like Save water, save tiger, no smoking, wise use of resources like paper, say no to polybags, efficient use of water and energy at home etc were presented by students.
The aim of the event was further highlighted by Principal Mili Sumbria by stressing upon the global hazard of pollution and thereby making the student's realize their worth and contribute their bit to the mother. The task will become well highly impossible if we don't preserve the existing things. So "let us develop our environment friendly attitude for a green life style and a green future." |
