| Anti human trafficking unit established | | | Early Times Report
Doda, July 21: In a bid to put a check on human trafficking, the Doda Police today established an Anti-Human trafficking unit within the premises of Police Station Doda here today which was formally inaugurated by Superintendent of Police (SP) Doda Mohd Arif Rishu.
Speaking on the occasion SP Doda urged the general public to inform the District Doda especially Anti-Human Trafficking unit Doda immediately for the redressal. "if locals find any complaint regarding illegal trade of human beings for purposes of sexual exploitation or reproductive slavery, forced labour, child labour, bounded labour or any modern day from the slavery, so that strict action under law can be taken against defaulters, he said.
He added that the said cell will work under the command of Dy SP Hqrs Doda. Speaking on the occasion SP said that aggrieved can contact Anti-Human Trafficking Unit on Numbers. 01996-234530 and 94191-57306.
"The Human Trafficking unit will work round the clock and will work as counseling unit for victims also, SP added. |
