| Satish seeks youth participation in developmental works | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, July 22 : Satish Sharma President Lok Sabha, Pradesh Youth Congress Jammu-Poonch addressed a gathering of youth delegates and other Congress workers here today. Prominent among those present were S.Manjit Singh Ex. Minister, Dr. Satpaul Bhagat, . Babal Gupta, Pankaj Mohan, . Rajan Sharma, . Paramjit Pamma, Chander Shekher,. Narinder Charak, Narinder Choudhary.
Sharma while thanking the youth and delegates , appealed the youth community to actively participate and monitor centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA, PMGSY, IAY, SGSY, TSC, etc. , so that every desired person/needy be benefited by these schemes .
He also thanked the Centre Govt. for providing Rs. 7300 crores to the State Govt. for these centrally sponsored schemes. He also showed concern over the non-availability of electricity and scarcity of water, as the people are badly suffering at this juncture. He lauded and assured the gathering that he will approach the Administration for redressing their genuine demands on priority. He also appealed the youth to carry farward the message of Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji to booth level and also empower the panchayats . He thanked AIYC Congress leaders including Shri Rajiv Satav Ji, Shri Jatinder Singh Ji, Ms. Meenakshi Natrajan and Shri Chetan Chouhan for successful youth congress election and extending full support to the youth of J&K.
