| Rs. 9.6 crore expended on 8-model villages in Budgam | | | Budgam, February 3
Work is in full swing in eight model villages of district Budgam involving an expenditure of Rs. 9.6 crore. Besides, the basic facilities like roads, drainage the model village will be provided with state of art, community information centres and other basic facilities.
This was given out at a high level officers meeting of Rural Development department chaired by the Additional District Development Commissioner Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Ashai here today. The meeting also took review of various other development works under taken under the Rural Development sector in the district.
The meeting was told that by December end about 818 development works have been completed in the district involving the expenditure of Rs.2.72 crore. One lakh twenty four thousand men-days have been generated during the said fiscal in the district the meeting was informed.
Speaking on the occasion the DDC called upon the officers to ensure the completion of all the works on the scheduled dates. |
