| Bovine smuggling bid foiled | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 23: A police party of PP Industrial Estate Kathua during Naka duty at Maggar Khad intercepted one Bolero Mohindra Load Carrier bearing registration No.JK21-7705, driven by one Manshu Son of Rehmat Ali Resident of Gujjar Basti Sunjwan Samba which was on way from Jammu to Punjab State managed to escape from the spot leaving behind vehicle loaded with 05 Bovine Animals. Police has launched a man hunt to nab the accused. A Case FIR N0.275/2012 U/S 188 RPC,3/5 CA Act.stands registered at PS Kathua. Further on 22.07.2012 a police party of P/S Hiranagar during patrolling conducted a raid at Village Pathwal intercepted one motor cycle without registration number driven by one Ravi Kumar Son of Romesh Chander R/O Marheen and recovered 42 Nips of J&K Excise liquor. However the said accused managed to escape from the spot. Police has launched a man hunt to nab the accused. A Case FIR N0.112/2012 U/S 48 A Excise Act. stands registered at PS Hiranagar. |
