Saroori greets Pranab

Kishtwar, July 23: Former Minister and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has extended greetings and best wishes to newly elected President Pranab Mukherjee. Saroori said that country's democratic traditions will be strengthened with an experienced personality like Mukherjee becoming President of India.
He said that Mukherjee's life is dedicated to value-based politics and dignity of parliamentary traditions during his five decade old\ political career. Known as 'sankatmochan' (troubleshooter), since he (Mukherjee) always remains ready to face challenges even under most difficult situations, he did not deviate from mutual dialogue and\ consensus. Saroori hoped that under the guidance of Mukherjee, Indian democracy will be strengthened and the country will carve out a distinct identity in the word.
