Shivani Dramatics Workshop opens at JIAR
"Cultural aptitude infuses ethical discipline among students"

The introduction of cultural aptitude among the students infuses ethical discipline which is dire necessity in contemporary education that is marred by foreign invasion of destructive forces corrupting our generations' mind sets, said Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, chairman Sain Charitable Trust, while declaring open the first theatrical workshop organized by Shivani Cultural Society in Trikuta Group of Colleges at Nardani, here today Dr. Sharma explained the need of holding such workshops so that the aspiring youth may join such streams and be saved from falling into the prey to other corruptive means.
The workshop which is first ever of its kind is meant to tap the talent in its right perspective and be given a podium to excel to greater heights in theatricals which is the most important medium of expression and personality development.
More than 50 students drawn from different faculties of the College attended the workshop which announced holding of two theatrical events. 'Had Se Zayada' written and directed by Varun Suthra went on floors which is very much likely to be followed by Hadsa; Haqeeqat by Vikram Sharma General Secretary Shivani Cultural Society. Abshishek Magotra leads the troupe which has a strong contingent of many young artists who are dedicated and sincere in their efforts to this cause. Anu Koul who is assisting in affair which includes freshers like Vikas Vurva, Abhishek Magotra, Abhimanya Gupta, Sachin Fotra, Munish Sharma, Vishalakshi Sharma, Reva Chauhan, Isha Singh, Sheweta Khajuria, Rohit Sharma, Amit Gupta, Muneer Ahmed, Sunny Ahmed, Sunny Khajuria and Vishal Pathak attending the workshop with great enthusiasm and zeal. Shipra Sharma joined the group as the senior artist whose theatrical endeavours have enough feathers in her bouquet. The first production of the workshop will be held at Abhinav Theatre on 27th Feb. which will be followed by Hadsa, Haqeeqat, a production of more broader canvas in which Reva Chauhan joins Shipra Sharma in a consent to play pivotal roles along with Varun Suthra and Abhishek Magotra who have already achieved a significant place of distinction in dramatics. Anu Koul who aptly handled the earlier production in its management will assist in this venture and is very likely to co-direct the event.
