Cong likely to get back Ministries soon

Jammu, July 23: The Congress is likely to get back Ministries of R&B and Education very soon. The party high command is likely to communicate to the Chief Minister in this regard by next week. The party high command has made up its mind after a Congress workers consistently complained about denying their due.
According to party sources, the decks are cleared for getting two prestigious Ministries which has been kept by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah with himself. Party sources said now that Presidential elections are over, the party was keen to clear some of the pending issues with regard to the J&K.
Sources said party high command has been briefed consistently about the grouse in the party cadre on issues of denial of their rightful right and also on being discriminated in the major decisions.
Union Minister Kapil Sibal had also hinted in this regard when he said he will take up this issue with the party high command.
Party sources said very soon Cong president Sonia Gandhi will communicate to the Chief Minister to hand back these portfolios and will also give him the names. It is in view of these developments that NC has gone into the huddle and is weighing its option of delaying the matter for some more period.
The Cong president has made up her mind after being briefed that any further delay on this account could affect political fortunes as these Ministries are directly linked to people and credible work in these Ministries has the potential of reaping good political fortunes.
Cong president was also briefed that there has been growing anger among the people as they can't take their problems with the Chief Minister and this has resulted in dis-connection with the people and this anger is being targeted at Cong as it hasn't been able to get back the Ministries.
