| SRINAGAR, July 24 : Security forces today smashed two militant hideouts and recovered arms and ammunition in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. The hideouts were busted during separate operations in Sangri and Harran forest areas in Handwara, 80-km from here, a police spokesman said. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the hideouts, he said adding the seizure included an AK-56 rifle, 4 magazines, a Chinese pistol with seven rounds, two under barrel grenade launchers and a plastic container. |
