| Talent hunt show "Talaash-e-Hunar" organised | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 25: Ram Imagine Art, Hariom Kailash Entertainment, National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFD) and Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan jointly organized a Talent Hunt show "Talaash - e - Hunar" (Road to Stardom ) at NIFD with an aim to promote traditional culture of Jammu and Kashmir.
The programme was conducted under the Chairmanship of K L Verma the disciple of Shiv Kumar Sharma, renowned Santoor Player.
Speaking on the occasion Verma stressed on strengthening the state's rich culture adding that we should frequently organize cultural events in the state so that we can highlight our cultural heritage.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Kumar, President of Ram Imagine Art said the aim of the organization is to promote our customs, singing, dance and to provide exposure of such high level to the youngsters in the field of entertainment. The Auditions will be organized on August 6, 8 and 10 and final will be organized at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University on September 9. |
