Durga Nagar sex scandal, Kishtwar Police constitute SIT | Red corner notice against absconding DC likely | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, July 25: After the name of Deputy Commissioner level officer surfaced among others in infamous Jammu sex scandal in which 15 year old victim Babli Devi (Name Changed) in her statement recorded before Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar u/s 16 CrPC, Kishtwar police constituted a 5 member Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by SDPO Dy. SP Atholi Sanjay Raina. As per the order issued by SSP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tutti, other than Dy. SP Sanjay Raina, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed, Sub Inspector Puran Chand, Constable Mohammad Sharief and Roshan Lal will be the other members of the investigating team. While confirming the constitution of SIT, SSP Kishtwar said that the aim and objective of constituting the SIT is to arrest the accused involved in the kidnapping rape of minor girl hailing from Padyarna area of Kishtwar District. Mr. Tutti said, " we have nothing with case being investigated by the Jammu police, we are investigating our own FIR registered with us at police station Kishtwar u/s 366/376". "Several people involved in raping the minor girl are unidentified and need to be identified and prosecuted before the court. The prime job of the SIT is to identify the unidentified persons and arrest all the accused who are still absconding " he added. Kishtwar police recorded the statement of the victim in case of missing FIR registered by the cousin brother of the victim. Meanwhile the sources said that Kishtwar police is in process of issuing the red corner notice against the absconding Deputy Commissioner Rank Officer who had reportedly fleed to US soon after his name surfaced in sex scandal. The sources said that Kishtwar police will approach the Ministry of External Affairs through proper channel and will seek the extradition of Deputy Commissioner Rank Officer who is said to be identified by the police on the basis of inputs given by the minor girl.
