Mumbai Crime Branch appreciates role of Kishtwar Police

kishtwar, July 26: Mumbai Crime Branch presently probing much publicized murder case of Bollywood Starlet Laila Khan and her family in its official communication acknowledged the role and help of Kishtwar police in solving the murder mystery.
The acknowledgment letter written by Niket Kaushik Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Mumbai to SSP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tutti issued wide D.O No. 33/Addl.CP/Crime/2012 stated that the district police has been commendable with its support during the course of investigation of a widely publicized and critical matter of disappearance of Laila Khan and her family members. The officer has expressed his deep appreciation on behalf of Mumbai city Crime Branch for not only the assistance, but important spade work done by you (SSP) personally and your colleagues in J&K Police."
As already reported, team of Kishtwar police headed by SSP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tutti along with DySP HQ Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed, Sub Inspector Nayeem-ul-Haq Mattoo and head constable Abdul Hamid played an important role in Laila Khan and her family members disappearance case and finally helps the Maharashtra police in solving the 16 month old case with the arrest of accused Parvaiz Iqbal Tak of Bhunzwah Kishtwar who confessed before Kishtwar police about the killing of the actress and her 5 other family members in a fit and rage with the help of his associate Shakir Hussain son of Mohammad Sharief of Gundow Doda and later led to the recovery of all the six dead bodies buried inside the Igatpuri farmhouse of the actress.
Meanwhile, Mumbai High Court today rejected the writ petition filed by Nadir Shah Patel, biological father of the actress demanding CBI probe. Mumbai High Court after hearing the arguments on writ petition turned down the demand of CBI probe with the finding that each and every case cannot be transferred to CBI and allowed the Mumbai Crime Branch to carry on with its investigation.
In the meantime, Mumbai Crime Branch team arrived in Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon to discuss various legal matters with the State Police so as to strengthen the murder case on legal points. Mumbai Crime Branch team is expected to hold meetings with Doda and Kishtwar police regarding the progress on arrest of Shakir Hussain, another accused in Laila Khan murder case.
