| 9 teachers terminated, several other under scanner | | Kishtwar fake certificate scandal | | Asif Iqbal Naik
kishtwar, July 26: In response to the media reports and case registered by the Kishtwar police in connection with appointment of atleast 16 teachers on fake certificates in Drabshala Education Zone of Kishtwar District, Director School Education Jammu vide his order No: DSEJ/MW/703-714 directed disengagement of services of 9 teachers appointed on fake documents 6-8 years ago.
As per the documents available with Early Times, the order issued by Director School Education Jammu, ZEO Drabshala vide his No. ZEO/D/2011/Estt./243 dated 6-02-2012 submitted report of verification of documents of 16 employees belonging to Drabshala Zone of District Kishtwar to Chief Education Officer Kishtwar who vide his No: CEO/K/12/16350 dated 14-2-2012 forwarded the same to Director School Education Jammu for verification. Director School Education in his order further stated that after going through the reports and verification of documents from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Jammu, the documents on the bases of which the accused managed to get the job are tempered in some cases while fake in other cases.
Director School Education Jammu while issuing the termination order of the 10 teachers stated that on the bases of the fact elaborated at para (4) and (5), the documents produce at the time of engagement as Education Volunteer (EV) has been proven to be tempered/fake and therefore the engagements of Mohammad Ismail S/o Kasum Dhenda EV EGS center Suranga (Presently RET PS Suranga, Mohd. Ishaq Gorci S/o Ghulam Qadir Gurci EV EGS Center Patnazi (Presently RET PS Patnazi), Abdul Rehman S/o Fateh Mohd EV EGS Center Kurrer (Presently RET PS Kurrer), Mohd. Aslam S/o Noor Din EV EGS Center Mano Kither (Presently RET PS Mano Kither), Bashrat Hussain S/o Noor Mohd. Keen RET PS Mukaram Mohallah (Regularized as general line teacher PS Mukaram Mohallah), Mubeen Ara D/o Nazir Ahmed RET Teacher PS Sarpan (Regularized as general line teacher PS Sarpan) , Shah Din Keen S/o Noor Din Keen RET teacher PS Budhhar (Regularized as general line teacher PS Budhhar), Abdul Kabir Keen S/o Mohd. Abdullah Keen RET teacher HS Balgran (Regularized as general line teacher PS Budhhar) and Noor Mohammad S/o Abdullah Gujjar EV EGS center Mano Kither (Presently RET PS Mano Kither) all located in Drabshala Education Zone of District Kishtwar. After receiving the disengagement order from Director School Education, CEO Kishtwar Lok Nath Bhat in compliance to the order of Director School Education Jammu issued termination of the services of all the accused appointed on forged documents and intimated them about the decision of the department.
Meanwhile Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar, Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary, Investigating Officer in case FIR No. 98/2012 under sections 420/466/467/468/471 RPC registered against the disengaged Government employees for procuring the Government job on fake/forged documents said that the disengagement of services of these Government employees is the internal matter of the department. He said as per law, police after investigating the matter produces the challan before the court and said that it is up to the court to cross examine the evidences produced by the police and delivered the judgement in accordance to the law after trial. Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Lok Nath Bhat while confirming the termination orders of these teachers/RET's said that Education Department has suffered a lot due to bogus/fake certificate mafia who sold the fake/forged documents in open market. |
