| JU VC interacts with examination wing | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27 : Prof. Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu along with team of officials paid a visit to various sections and offices of the examination wing of University. Prof Manoj K Dhar, the Controller of Examinations apprised Vice-Chancellor about working of various sections of the examination. Prof Ishar paid a detailed visit and interacted with the Branch Officers, Section Officers, Senior Assistants, Junior Assistants and other Staff of various sections and took on spot review of situation on ground. The Vice-Chancellor desired that more space should be provided to the examination wing so as to provide better facilities to the non-teaching staff.Prof Ishar also directed that different sections may be reorganized so as to minimize the delay in processing various cases and also to avoid hardships to the students. The directions were also passed to concerned sections for installation of water coolers etc. besides various proposals regarding improvement in the evaluation system including coding and decoding process and the colour scheme for Ph.D thesis of various faculties were also discussed in detail. Prof Ishar was accompanied by Prof Naresh Padha, Registrar, Jaikumar Sharma, OSD to Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Joint Registrar, Executive Engineer, Dr. Dharminder Khajuria, Dy.Registrar and other officials of the University. |
