JKGBDY warns of stir against erratic power supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 27: Ch Nazakat khatana, state president of Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Bakerwal Desh Youth (JKGBDY) organization warned state government and PDD authorities they will go protest after prayers outside each Masjid on Friday and will intensify their stir if the power supply remains irregular especially at the month of fasting. In a press conference held here today, Khatana projected the difficulties being faced by the public because of the erratic electricity supply in most of the parts of Jammu, especially during the holy month of Ramdan. Khatana said that the government seems to be unmoved on the pitiable condition of Jammuites to whom grave discrimination is made on all accounts and so also in the supply of electricity. He lamented the situation has become worst when Muslim in region are on fasting and are facing hardships at 'Sahri and Iftaar' and while making prayers in the mosques. Khatana warned the government saying if the electricity is not made available from Friday then they may intensify their symbolic protests.
