Humming Buds celebrate friendship day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 27: Humming Buds, Pre-School chain of MIER, celebrated Friendship Day at the B.C. Road and Residency Road branches. The objective of this day was to explain to the children true meaning of companionship and friendship. Humming Buds strongly believes that life is not just about learning to read and write. They are important but just as important are friendship, love and tolerance. This is a lifelong skill in today's global scenario where children are travelling around the world, making new friends and flourishing in a healthy community. A special screening of the movie 'Kungfu Panda' was arranged for the children to beautifully convey the message of the day. The movie focused on how a fat Panda with his determination and the help of his friends achieves the unthinkable. Little buds had loads of fun and were extremely excited to watch the movie with their friends on the big projector screen. Children also made colorful friendship bands and tied them to their best friend in school. Teachers told them about the qualities of a good friend should possess like being helpful, supportive and honest. Also friends should stand by each other's side in times of happiness or sorrow and be your well wishers. Kids had a great fun day. Present on the occasion were Rupa Gupta, Principal Model Academy, Ruchika Gupta. Project Director Humming Buds, Usha Gadoo, Vice Principal and other staff members. |
