| KC Public School prepares for Vanmahotsava-12 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27 :Students of KC Public School have started gearing up for the Vanmahotsava celebrations 2012 with enthusiasm to play their part to save the planet by planting trees.
School spokesperson stated that Department of social Forestry, Govt of J&K and the Jammu Municipal Corporation jointly are collaborating school administration in its mission to plant more trees to save planet earth. Spokesperson said that from July 30 a team of 60 students of KCPS will plant saplings on the banks of the river Tawi on a specially chosen site for planting trees.
"A special function to review preparedness of students of KCPS and teachers associating them was held in the school activity hall today which was attended by S.D Khajuria, DFO, Social Forestry ,Jammu Division and S S Chib, Range Officer, Jammu Range. Meanwhile cultural activities to be staged on State Level Vanamohatsava function likely to be held on Aug 12/13 was also discussed. |
