| Super specialists being posted in Govt Hospitals | | Educated Youth would be trained in various trades: Mangat | | JAMMU | FEB 4 Minister for Health and Medical Education, Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma today while addressing a Relief Distribution Camp at Jawahar Nagar in New Plot said that the government is planning to post super specialists in government Hospitals both in urban and rural areas to provide hi-tech medicare facilities to the people of the state. He said that with the opening of new hospitals with financial assistance by central government, large number of educated youth would be trained in nursing and other allied medical professions. He said that more employment generation would be ensured by issuing drug licenses among qualified youth for opening of medical shops under strict supervision of concerned authorities. Relief distribution camp at Jawahar Nagar was organised by Indian Red Cross Society, district branch Jammu. The function among others was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Hardish Kumar Singh. The Minister distributed blankets among the deserving women folk of the area. Referring to the demands of local people, the Minister said that with the population explosion, drinking water, electricity and other basic amenities have suffered a lot of pressure, resulting in shortage of these basic requirements, however, Mr. Sharma said the government is making all out efforts to mitigate the grievances of the people at all levels. He assured the people that the government will leave no stone unturned in providing all basic facilities in a phased manner.
