| Militants injured one person in Shopian | | | early times report
Srinagar, July 29 : Militants shot at and injured a person when he was coming out from a mosque in Shopian district, official sources said here today. Police said the militants involved in the attack have been identified. The sources said one Mohammad Rafi Malla was coming from a mosque at Pahalpora, Shopian, when the militants fired at him from close range.
Hearing firing, nearby residents immediately rushed to the spot and took him to local hospital from where he was referred to SMHS hospital here. Police said the militants involved in the attack have been identified as Inam ul Haq Malla alias Waseem and Irshad Ahmad Sheikh. A massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants, they said. |
