| ReTs seek redressal of demands | | | early times report
jammu, July 29 : A month-ly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum held at Exhibition Ground Jammu in which a large number of ReT Teachers from all the districts participated. The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of state president, Vinod Sharma. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma appealed the Chief Minister to redress their various demands as per his commitment in June 2012 which include regularization of EVS as general line teachers who have completed their 7 year service since March 2010, old pension scheme in favour of ReTs appointed before 01-01-2010 by implementing Govt order no. 115, dated 29-02-2008, inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits, provision of transfer policy for regularized teachers, benefits of SRO 43 and issuance of formal order regarding enhancement of honorarium of ReTs upto Rs 3000 per month as announced during assembly session. While speaking different ReTs urged the Government to concede their demands and issue formal orders for the welfare of more than sixty thousand ReTs. Meanwhile, on the occasion, Behari Lal was elected as State Secretary and Subash Chander as district President of Jammu. |
