| MLC Naresh Gupta tours Bhaderwah constituency | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 29: MLC Naresh Gupta conducted tour of Bhaderwah town and other areas of constituency. He was accompanied by officers of various departments. MLC toured Atal Ghar, Sartingal, Tili Ghar, Bhaderwah Fort and other villages . Addressing various gatherings in villages, Gupta said, "The Coalition Government is doing its best to improve condition of people living in remote and far-flung areas. Though, life is still miserable in most of rural belts of Bhaderwah constituency, yet things have been changed in a drastic manner during last one decade. The people have now easy access to basic amenities like fair weather roads, drinking water, education, health and power." He further said that there is a dire need to improve horticulture and agriculture marketing in Doda District; the fruit and vegetable growers of Bhaderwah constituency are facing lot of hardships due to negligible support from Horticulture Marketing Departments, he said. MLC expressed dissatisfaction over the land acquisition agencies and urged upon them to pay compensation to owners on war footing. MLC also inspected the ongoing work of Tili Ghar Conference Hall and Bhaderwah Fort. A deputation of Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) workers also called on MLC which demanded regularization of casual labourers engaged in BDA. |
