| Conversion, renewal of Food Business Operators' licences extended | | | early times report
JAMMU, July 30: As per Commissioner Food Safety, all Food Business Operators have been informed that the period of application for conversion/renewal of existing licenses/registration granted under the repealed Food Act/Order before the licensing/registration authority appointed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Food Safety and Standards (Licensing & Regulation of Food Business ) Regulations, 2011 has been further extended for a period of another six months with effect from August 5, 2012. All the Food Business Operators are, as such, requested to apply before the competent authority, Designated Officers/Food Safety Officers) for obtaining license/registration of their business as early as possible and not wait for cutoff date i.e February 4, 2013. Moreover in case of any query/assistance, they shall contact the Designated Officers of concerned district or on Mobile No.94191-91357. |
