JKDF holds public meeting in Ward No 26 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 31: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) held a public meeting in Ward No 26, Rehari Colony here today. A large number of people including women, youth and senior citizens of Ward attended the meeting. Meeting was organised to boost the various party activities especially strengthening of Women Cell of Party in order to build the mass base among rural and urban women of Jammu Region. The meeting was led by Ladies Wing District President Shruti Khajuria in presence of Prashant Puri (Senior Leader), Vivek Raja (District General Secretary) and Veenu Khanna (Sr. Ladies Wing Worker). The main development of the meeting was the joining of 20 workers of PDP and BJP including 7 women from the Ward No 26 into JKDF. While welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Shruti Khajuria said, JKDF is fast growing political group which has emerged as people's voice in short span of time. Our objective is to focus on people's problems and developmental activities where Jammu is still lagging behind. The basic amenities like water, electricity is the necessity of every person in the State and the present, Government is bent upon to exploit the people by curtailing the same. While expressing their gratitude to District President the newly joined party workers pledged their full support to the party and expressed their full faith in leadership of Anil Gupta, Chairman JKDF. |
