| Sunny Baba booked for thrashing cop in Court premises | | |

Jammu, July 31: Janipur police today booked the notorious gangster Sumit Choudhary alias Sunny Baba for thrashing and misbehaving with a cop in the court premises here today. Police sources said that Sunny Bawa taken to court for attending court hearing when he thrashed the head constable from DPL. Police sources said that a case under section 353,332,334 RPC has been registered against him in this connection. Police sources said that police has applied to court for his police remand.
Pertinent to mention that Sunny's involvement in eliminating witnesses in Amandeep murder case came to limelight after Satyam Resort shootout in which Rakesh Kumar, alias Giri, was killed during the police firing and another gangster Yudhveer, alias Babloo, got injured, while a third one, Sunny Bawa, managed to flee. He was arrested from Jhajjar Kotli alongwith one imported pistol from his possession and presently is lodged in district jail. |
