Provide basic amenities to residents of Nowshera: PDP | | | Early Times Report NOWSHERA, July 31: Expressing concern over lack of basic amenities in various areas of Nowshera Assembly segment, senior leader of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Surinder Choudhary today said that state government headed by Omar Abdullah is apathetic towards the problems being faced by the people. Addressing a public meeting at Hathal Panchayat of Nowshera area organised by Moti Ram, Surinder Choudhary regretted that during the last three and half years this coalition regime has done nothing to mitigate woes of the common masses. He said that this regime has even compounded woes of the people through out anti-people policies. He pointed out that common masses are struggling to get basic amenities like drinking water, better health facilities, power, education and ration. "This regime is non serious solve problems of the common people", he said and exhorted the people to launch a war against this corrupt regime, which has crossed all limits of corruption. Responding to the demands of the locals, Choudhary demanded that Middle School Hathal should be upgraded because students of Hathal and adjoining localities are facing problem due to non availability of high school in this year. He also demanded that three kilometers road from Hathal to Patha Talab should be constructed. He also demanded road from Hathal to Sarote to mitigate woes of the people. Surinder Choudhary demanded that mobile schools should be sanctioned for Scheduled Tribe (ST) dominated villages namely Harni, Gair and Gagote. He further demanded that Urdu teachers should also be appointed in Nowshera area. He further demanded that cases under Roshni Act should be disposed off. |
