| Beep – Beep Day observed at BSF School | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 31: A ‘Beep-Beep Day’ was organized here today in the pre-school wing of BSF Sr Sec School, Paloura with an aim to create awareness among the children about traffic lights.
The faculty at pre school clarified and taught various concepts related to traffic rules and regulations like of zebra crossings, traffic light (role of each light), traffic policeman & his role was explained to the children through ‘Smart Class’. Rhymes ‘Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light’, Red Light What Do You Say’ were also taught in the class.
As a part of practical activity the tiny tots of school were taken to the main gate of BSF Campus to have a first hand experience of crossing the road on zebra crossing, observe how a traffic policeman controls the traffic at the crossing and also interact with him. Besides this Sub Inspector Vikram Singh interacted with tiny tots in very cordial manner and replied various queries of children regarding the traffic rules and regulations and others issues.
He also distributed leaflets regarding road safety.
