NSUI organises seminar on deforestation | | | Early Times Report BHADERWAH, July 31: National Students Union of India organized a seminar on deforestation in Government Higher Secondary School Chinta, Bharderwah. Almost all schools of Chinta and Bhaderwah participated in the seminar. On the occasion , Sapna Bhagat of GHSS Chinta bagged the first prize, while Thakur Lal won the second prize and Rajeev Chauhan took the third prized and consolation prize was shared by Shivam and Shivan. The chief guest on the occasion was Fairoz Khan, National delegate NSUI J&K and guest of honour was Wasim Saroori Inchagre District Doda while special invite of the function was Principal GHSS Chinta S K Dhar. The seminar was organized by District President NSUI Doda Vishal Kotwal. The locals were also present with great number included Sarpanch Chinta Om Parkash Kotwal, Susheel Kumar Sarpanch and pan chayat member Suman Lata Bhagat. On the occasion, Wassim Saroori NSUI inchagre Doda briefed the students about the NSUI and its history. Fairoz Khan, National delegate NSUI J&K while speaking on the occasion said that the place like Chinta is known for its beauty but due to deforestation the beauty is fading away and there is need to take the concrete steps to save the forests. |
