| Over Rs 87 lakh sanctioned for families hit by windstorm | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 2 : Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned over Rs 87 lakh for families which suffered losses during a windstorm in the city early this year.
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, has released the amount of Rs 87.55 Lakh out of State Disaster Response Fund in favour of those affected and whose property suffered damage due to the windstorm which struck the Valley on March 19 and 20, an official spokesman said here today.
He said an amount of Rs 78.80 lakh has been placed at the disposal of tehsildar, north Srinagar, and Rs 8.75 lakh with tehslidar, south Srinagar, for the purpose. |
