| Induction Training Programme concluded | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Aug 4: Month long Induction Training Programme organized by District Institute of Education and Training Kud (Udhampur) concluded here today. The programme was meant for newly recruited teachers of district Udhampur commenced on July 6, 2012.
MLA Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia was the chief guest and Principal DIET, S. Parmjeet Singh presided over the valedictory function. Besides Principal HSS, Boys, J.M Tharmat and Principal HSS Girls Udhampur, Rashpal Singh was the guest of honour on the occasion.
As many as 159 teachers from all eleven Zones of district Udhampur participated in the training programme. Besides imparting training in the teaching subjects, bi-lingual lectures on Disaster Management, Value Education, Role of Art in School Education, Health and Hygiene, Community Education etc were also delivered by the competent doctors and lecturers during the programme. While speaking on the occasion, MLA complemented the efforts of organizers and said that these training programmes definitively improve the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the teaching profession. He exhorted upon the participants that they should work with missionary zeal and make best use of skills learnt during the training.
Among others, Course Coordinators, Sunil Sharma and Sarita Rani, Assistant Course Coordinators, Shiv Kumar and Rajni Pathania were also present on the occasion. |
